Climate Change Stamps from the United Nations
Until today, I had no idea the United Nations even had a Postal Administration, let alone issues stamps! And how did I find out you may ask? 
Because I am interested in ecology and green news and I love to learn all kinds of interesting things, I read the Keetsa blog – and I certainly do learn about all kinds of marvelous things in the world that I would never hear about if I was not reading their blog. I’ve been reading their blog for months now and this is one of my very favorite bit of news – I do not collect stamps … but now that I hardly ever use stamps … mostly just for letters to my son in Iowa, I love to use a large variety of stamps instead of always using the same boring generic ones.
I’m not planning on getting any of the United Nations Climate Change Postage Stamps to use for my letters … I would think that real stamp collectors would want these for their collections – I did not read enough to know if they limit the quantities created or not … but they are beautiful! I hope they help raise awareness of the critical need for us to do something to stop and reverse the ill effects of climate change before it is too late for our planet and for us!

altough i hardly use stamps myself (now only e-emails) i believe that this collection of “climate chamge stamps”
really can have an educational role for primary-secondary education
