Hibernation always draws pictures in my mind of bear families snuggled up together in a cave sleeping peacefully. I could call my not blogging much the last few months a lot of different things besides hibernation – vacation … missing in cyber-space … BUT hibernation seems much nearer the true vision. I needed a break from blogging …. my “voice” needed a rest to live, explore new ideas and find all kinds of new things to picture in my mind, to paint on paper or on the computer and to re-energize my enthusiasm for blogging.
Some people might call it writer’s block … for me it is more an inner need to have a change of pace … a change of scenery … living in the moment smelling the roses instead of reporting sights and smells and thoughts.
I’ve written a bit here & there … I got my US State Names with Tribal Dragonflies or Art Whimsical Dragonflies back up for sale online … I have been practicing using MS Office 2007 – it does take time to find where they hid everything! It will turn a fast rabbit into a turtle for awhile … lol … I was and am a menu person because U regularly use so many different programs and none of them are the same … I got really comfy knowing where everything in Office programs was located and could just open and use the programs without thinking … NOW … I have to hunt for what I know has to be there somewhere so it is mostly a matter of re-training myself … there are some really nice new features in 2007 that I like too!
