I’ve been sick in December … I was so sick that I even missed Christmas … I’m finally feeling better though not well yet by any means. Today I took Sugar back to the vet to be checked again and to get the rest of her shots. Since we do not know what, if any she had before I got her, we felt it best to re-do all her shots to make sure she is protected. She has an appointment to be dropped off January 15th to be spayed the following morning and to be picked up that afternoon – everything being okay of course and no complications resulting from her surgery. She will not be feeling very perky for awhile so she will miss going to play with Magnus over at my daughter’s house but they play rough and she will need to rest, recuperate and get 100% feeling okay to go back & play with him more.
This morning, she was all excited because she got to get in the car with me and leave – I know she thought she was going to my daughter’s house! She loves to play with Magnus! She was all excited to get out of the car until she realized we were at the Vet’s office 
… poor her … she wanted no part of going in there! She’s a really good little puppy but she does not like going to the Vet … course she is getting shots and check-ups and being weighed – she gained 3 pounds in 3 weeks. She is still a growing puppy. She has played very hard with Magnus this month and they are fast friends – she likes to play even more than he does which makes him really happy!
Monday is a holiday … I plan to play video games for New Years Eve … no drinking or carousing for me thank you very much – hangovers are not my idea of a good time and I really like to remember if I had a good time or not the night before. I’m planning on doing some watercolor painting this week-end – last week-end I felt so awful I did absolutely nothing except huddle under a blankie coughing and played video games so I would not be tempted to try to get up and over do – I had to sleep propped up too. Sugar was VERY bored last week-end while I was sick – she didn’t understand why I didn’t feel like playing or doing anything but she was a very good little puppy – she just played with her toys and only tried to romp with me a few times.
