Illustration Friday: Perspective (Broken Perspective)

An artist works with perspective all the time ... ppl work with broken perspective all the time ... as a visually impaired artist ... perspective is much more difficult sometimes than what I think it should be for me ... perhaps my broken ppl perspective rubs off on my artistic visions ...never the less .. at one time or another, every artist has created something that at first glance almost appears to be in perspective but yet is miles off .... it nags one being wrong ... it is like words on the tip of your tongue ... you know something is not right but at first you cannot tell for sure quite what is out of balance and out of perspective.

Some people NEVER see their ........................................

I am on track for drawing / sketching every day ... I even managed it while sick this week! Today, I ordered my first set of silk for painting ... I plan to do silk painting with my Inktense watercolor pencils but also proably other types of fabric painting too.

Illustration Friday: Focused

Focused ... what a topic for a Friday ... the word inspired me to draw an eyeball and a pyramid ... similar in thought but not design to the pyramid on the back of U.S. money.

Right now, I do not have any money to watch .. thus perhaps why mine is in two pieces separate from each other ... sooner or later ... I will once again have a bit of money ... but until then ... I do without as much as possible and I ask for as little as possible from my daughter - she cannot afford to spare any anyway!

Illustration Friday: Clumsy

Today's topic is clumsy ... that one hits me right where I live ... it is a family trait I inherited as well as my most defining feature I think ... I have lazy eye so I use only one eye to see which means I have no depth perception ... that in itself makes for one clumsy person ... I can guess ... sometimes my guesses are spot on ... while other times I may be inches or yards out of measurement ... I have a very unique vision of everything that is uniquely me.

The old saying goes not to cry over ..................................
