I love Fractal Art. It is gorgeous and reminds me of how much I truly enjoyed kaleidoscopes back when I was a kid. I found it really fascinating that those turning rocks would make such gorgeous pictures that fired my imagination and fractal art is similar in thought – taking mathematical equations and turning them into art is a marvel to me – everyone with fractal art software can make them it is true … but only Fractal Art Masters such as Joan Kerrigan can truly find the genius possible with this art form.
I have played with fractals a bit and they are fun but to me, creating them is a moment of hobby bliss similar to turning the kaleidoscope wheel, not something I want to devote my art career to perfecting to create perfect art from math that mimics reality. Joan’s spirals are awe inspiring to me – I love spirals such as are found in seashells – a true miracle of nature art and Celtic Art which tells me that they were VERY observant of seashells and how they relate to the ups and downs spirals of life. Her spirals and nature (particularly the Bird of Paradise) gallery of artwork is magnificent! Be sure to stop over and look and buy a few to decorate your home or office or to give as gifts. At Imagekind, you can choose the mat and frame that you like best with the artwork that will match, accent or complement your decor.
