Today’s topic is muddy … for me .. the first impression I get is a muddy road .. so that is what I drew with my watercolor pencils. That muddy pit in the road does not always appear to be deep or dank and may even appear to be rather inviting in some lights while looking at it from a car window … but you discover fast enough just how uninviting and disastrous it can be when the tire crunches into that hole in the ground of the road. Potholes are muddy messes in Iowa in the winter time after snow and slush but before freezing … sloshy slushy muddy messes are they … in Houston. we too get wet dirty sloshy muddy pits in the road from the rainstorms … thankfully they do not hardly ever freeze over to become crunchy but go through one too fast and your whole body will reverbrate with pain and wishing you had avoided that hole in the road.
