New to Blogging – Old to Journaling
I’m new to blogging – decided it was time I learned how to do it and to generate some interest in my fine art paintings, designs and store – I will announce new store designs that I have added here.
I’ve been journaling my entire life though – I used to have an online journal that I wrote in but I got tired of having to manually update the html page every time I wrote. I’m hoping this will be much easier to do online – the writing is what I find enjoyable – not ftp-ing a new page over.
With pen and paper – I usually use artist sketchbooks – I can write or draw or sketch or a combination of all – I mix daily life notes jotted down too – those get torn out and thrown away but it is interesting to go back a couple years and look at notes I jotted down about something I had to take care of or a quick phone number in it because it was handy. It gives me a “feel” for what that moment in my life was like.
