Well … it is Sunday again and I missed last week blogging completely … life is to be lived and sometimes there just is not enough hours in the day or the week to do everything so one has to choose what to accomplish. Last week, it was a variety of odds & ends … cooking for the dog of course takes time for one thing … but taking care of her is a big responsibility – just like having a child except that she never reaches the point of being able to care for herself.
Yesterday, I worked on completely re-vamping my Watercolor Gift Gallery website http://www.watercolorgift.com. It was fun!
I also went to a Touch Football Championship Game for my 9 year old grandson – he enjoyed playing (which is what counts!) even though his team lost by 1 point.
Today, I’ve decided to highlight 7 of my wonderful friends who are at My Space ( mine is http://www.myspace.com/dragonflyswarm which probably won’t surprise anyone what the name is ) – there are so many that it was hard to choose only seven! So I put names in a hat & pulled them out because I couldn’t decide! I will highlight more another day! I’m still learning how to use My Space so I haven’t even found everyone I know yet let alone figured out how to add them as my friends yet! I think I figured out how to ask to be added as their friend this morning LOL … we’ll see if I did it right or not!
1. I did manage to make a couple comments on some friends blogs over at My Space though – great people & wonderful friends! Kent – Nifty Galoot for one at http://www.myspace.com/niftygaloot – he has some wonderful veggie designs.
2. Another one of my friends is JGoode aka Lil Goodies at http://www.myspace.com/lilgoodies – she is a wonderful designer & a marvelous person! She has some really awesome designs but one of her new ones is my current favorite! I love all of her designs so my “current favorite” rotates a lot! Anyway, she has a delightful new peace sign – full of dragonflies! Of course that would appeal to me being aka Dragonfly Lady.
3. Then there is another artist – Vicki at http://www.myspace.com/jelleyjar who has some marvelous designs too! She is a really nice person and though she lives close to me physically – I haven’t had the opportunity to meet her yet. I’m looking forward to meeting her though! She had major house damage last year in the Houston Hurricane Rita nitemare and she has been busy recovering from that since while still being her wonderful self online & designing up new creations amongst a host of other life happenings.
4. Kristen at http://www.myspace.com/foxvox – she is a fabulous artist! Her work and her spirit inspire me to be the best person & artist I can be – she is kind, thoughtful, friendly and one of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet online!
She has turtles too! Kristen does all kinds of fabulous art online & in person – her watercolors are very distinctive & packed full of passion & very colorful – her Celtic art (I bought one of her Celtic dragonfly shirts!) is very impressive!
5. Rotem Gear at http://www.myspace.com/rotemgear is a terrific person too! Her art is unique and very stylish! She knows Japanese – what an accomplishment that seems to me – I gave up trying to learn German feeling it was too hard and Japanese looks very complicated to me! It is lovely to look at even if I do not know what it says! She has a dragonfly Haiku design which is gorgeous!
6. Sagart at http://www.myspace.com/sagartdesigns is a fun person who brings a smile or even a belly laugh to my day every time I read her posts or emails! She has a delightful though sometimes wicked sense of humor and livens up any conversation – it is always a joy to see her designs too – they are generally bright, colorful and just the right design for the right holiday!
7. Loxly at http://www.myspace.com/loxly is a marvelous person – so wise yet wise-cracking 
… so much fun and so very nice & helpful … she is also a fountain of knowledge about being an Affiliate Marketer.
