Waaaay back in the very olden days … lol … a few of the really oldies but goodies I remember knowing all the words and singing along EVERY time I heard them on the radio … AND I owned the 45 records … ya know those round vinyl things with a hole in the middle that played on a phonograph using a needle that ya just NEVER wanted to accidentally drop on your records? Makes me a bit dated huh? ;P

I was a kid … I’m not sure if it was the beat, the lyrics or just being a teen-ager … the music was old time Rock N Roll … when it was young … and so was I.

In looking at just a very few of my current favorite singers with songs about love … most still seem to be about love gone wrong not right ….off my CD shelf there is:

Gary Allan singing Her Man, Smoke Rings in the Dark, The One and Man to Man

Conway Twitty …. Hello Darlin and way too many more to name – I LOVE his singing!

George Strait … there are very few George Strait songs I don’t like … one of his latest … Give It Away … that is a marvelous song! My very favorite song of his though of all time is Ace in the Hole.

Wilie Nelson … On the Road Again .. that is my theme song of my life I think :) … EVERY time I hear it on the radio … my life changes … I can count on it … :)
