Since I am exactly one week late for last week’s topic, guess my focus last week was not blogging Tuesdays Topic {grin} … my focus in the month of March was two-fold.
1. No Smoking Grandma … one second at a time …. I did not have even one cigarette in the entire month of March 2008 … I had my last cigarette on February 29th in the year 2008 at about 3 PM … not smoking has taken priority over everything in my life right now … except feeding and walking Miss Sugar Plum … she is still #1 of course … but caring for her is not really on my to-do list … it is just part of taking care of my “family”.
I haven’t been on schedule for blogging the last half of March … partially due to being so tired and exhausted from struggling with myself over not smoking … and partially because my arthritis has been bothering me a lot. I went to a Rheumatoid Arthritis specialist in March and I get my results on April 16th … we’ll see if it shows a cause or if I just get an “inflammation” diagnosis.
2. Read All My Email … My other focus for the month of March was to read every email that came into my email accounts. The reason for that goal is that I have been rather scattered and quite unfocused and needing to refocus myself so much the last month … all that oxygen to the brain .. it really scattered my thoughts all over the place and I am still trying to find where in the wind that they all flew off to so I can get the butterfly net out and capture my ideas to stuff back in my fly-away brain.
The good news is that I am two for two on my March 2008 goals … I did not smoke any cigarettes!
… and I read all my emails … I may have no clue what they said or if I took care of anything or everything I should have or not … but I read them all … LOL … each and every one … so now on April Fools Day … I am NOT joking when I say … I am slowly getting my concentration in life on more than just not smoking back and moving on towards actually maybe becoming an ex-smoker … instead of a smoker who is not smoking.
I am beginning to miss my focus on art and being creative! Time to go paint something! Check back later tonite to see if I managed to paint something I liked or not!.

I didn’t look up the meaning of the word focus so I learned something new … or was it something I knew and had forgotten … or never knew at all? … my focus and concentration are still not as crystal clear as I would like for them to be but I guess I just need some brain cleanser … where is that glass of water I had a few minutes ago?
