I am a week late … Earth Day was a week ago … it is another Tuesday … I do not remember why I didn’t do any blogging that day now … I know I have been swamped with a project for work that is a very close deadline … I know I am exhausted by the Rheumatoid Arthritis [for example, I went to bed at 7 PM last nite even without supper because I was so tired … and I did not get up until the alarm went off this morning … poor puppy dog … she was probably crossing her hairball puppy paws since I didn’t take her back outside last nite at 10 PM like I normally do .. she is a VERY good girl … no problems or accidents … and trust me … if she were serious about going outside … she would get me up!
I have my canvas bags that advertise the local Kroger grocery store with pretty foil inside to try to help keep things cool … AND yes, I use them … I am leaving the lights out at work and using daylight (gasp) … yes daylight … I have windows in my office … when I am home, I open the blinds and let the daylight shine in and do not have lights turned on .. now I am doing the same at work as much as I possibly can … sometimes when reading tiny little text I need all the light I can get but for typing … it is plenty of north light. Spring, summer and fall in Houston is fairly easy to leave the lights off … winter is an up and down time … off & on .. many dark days where there is not enough light to work by … I could have the same issues if I were at home too.
