Tuesdays Topic – National Four Hugs Day & National Get the Giggles and Give One Away Day

No one lives here with me except Miss Sugar Plum but she will be quite happy to have me hug her four times … or more … the problem with hugging Miss Sugar Plum is that she doesn’t much like being hugged if you hug her longer than a couple seconds … the wiggles and squirms and tries to lick my face and to escape so she can play with the person in her floor space. Every time I get down on the floor even to pick up the pieces of her shredded toys … she is bouncing all over me making me laugh and get the giggles … she is hilarious!
Dogs MUST play … and she is all about playing every chance she gets and making chances if she doesn’t get them without making them happen … she is the sweetest but the funniest critter … she had to bounce all over me this morning because I wasn’t getting up fast enough for her … she was ready to play before breakfast. I cannot help but laugh at her … even when she gets me up way too early .. I just cannot be mad at her … she is just too cute and funny. She gets lots of exercise following me around the house … she practically trips me when I am walking form one room to another because she is going too and usually she is right under my feet to do it. When I take a shower, she is laying on the bathroom floor waiting for me … sometimes at bedtime though, she will lay on the bed and watch me go turn off the bathroom light without getting up to follow me … but if I go into the hallway .. that is it … she is in the job and knows exactly where I am at and where I am going.
My daughter tells me she is hyperactive … she just is a very high energy dog who wants to play … a lot! I hadn’t planned on getting a young dog let alone one that thinks she is forever a puppy … sometimes in the morning between laughing at Miss Sugar Plum, I do long for a nice stuffed dog that will let me sleep in and won’t put her big ole puppy paws all over my face when I am trying to sleep and she wants me to get up out of bed … but I would sure miss her terribly if she wasn’t here!

I thought it was adorable too – it reminds me of me following up on Tuesdays Topics like a bloodhound plus I live in Texas wehre I see cowboy hats and cowboys quite often – I enjoy finding out about all sorts of things I don’t know a thing about and relating it to something in my life and learning or remembering more about me in the process
