April Fools Day is not my favorite day of the year. I have never liked the mean tricks so many people like … being hurt or hurtful is not my idea of fun. My daughter called me at work today to tell me she had thought about calling me with a really mean April Fools Day joke about my grandson … but she decided not to since I am trying to quit smoking … I was grateful to miss out on being the object of a mean vicious “joke” …. she was concerned that I would go buy a pack of cigarettes if she did.
I do like reading the funny stuff people come up with like Google’s About Gmail Paper or CafePress’s LoveMatch Service Announcement
My contribution to April Fools Day this year is a painting of a Kite Eating Tree … April is National Kite Month 
… ALWAYS avoid power lines and kite eating trees when flying kites!

oh no a kite eating tree — just when I was thinking of all the fun Kite festivals coming up, eeek! I didn’t know it was national kite month – more inspiration, yay! Thanks so much for your thoughts for the day… so glad we made it through another Fool’s day!
gonna have to keep my eye out for trees like that!! I wonder if they are related to the treants in my stories?!? *ponders*

One just never knows with kite eating trees
… I know that RPG games as well as old fashioned reading books can feed one’s drawing and painting fevers too as well as writing fancies … oh … fantasies … LOL
